Welcome to The Other Side

The Other Side (TOS) brand is something I'm incredibly proud to release... it's not only an iconic Gold Coast beach break, but an apt description of my own life journey.

The Other Side is a cherished beach break on South Stradbroke Island in Queensland, which I have passionately surfed for around 25 years now. It's only accessible by a sketchy paddle or by boat, hence its well-known name - The Other Side.

I love the waves, crew and theatre of the place - it means the world to me!

TOS is also a powerful mantra for my current cancer battle I am fighting and will continue to fight. I have endured chemotherapy and radiation for weeks on end, along with many other treatments. And throughout, I have been to The Other Side (TOS) many times in terms of testing my limits, always drawing strength from my connections to our amazing lifestyle, and the the experiences I've been gifted by surfing a spot like TOS.

TOS means the world to me.
